Dr. Heather Taylor, PsyD, LMHCis a Licensed Mental Health Counselor.  She specializes in individuals, couples, family therapy, and psychological testing.

Heather has experience working with a variety of patients in different clinical settings.  Among her areas of expertise are grief and loss, life transitions, family dynamics, anxiety, depression, trauma, self-worth, boundaries, relationship challenges, coping with stress, chronic health conditions, end of life support, and LGBTQ issues.  Heather has had additional training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Lifespan Integration (LI).  Heather has worked with patients in hospice, community health, private practice, and at a college wellness center.

Heather is an eclectic, empathetic therapist who collaborates with her patients to provide the support that best fits their unique needs.  She utilizes multiple therapeutic approaches to tailor a personal treatment plan.  She approaches therapy with the hope of empowering each patient to feel seen, heard and known.

Heather has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Gonzaga University.  Heather has a Master Degree in Counseling Psychology from Northwest University.  Heather has a Doctorate in Psychology (PsyD) from Northwest University.

License, Certifications & Awards

Heather is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Washington (LH60696378).  Heather has earned her Mental Health Practitioner (MHP) and Child Mental Health Specialist (CMHS) certifications from King County.

Additional Training

Heather has received additional training in grief and loss, play therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Lifespan Integration therapy (LI), and Level 1 Gottman training.
