Dr. Chaitra Devereaux, PsyD, LMHCA, is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate. She specializes in individual, couples, and family therapy.
Chaitra has experience working with a wide variety of patients in different clinical settings. Among her areas of expertise are childhood and adult trauma, self-worth and identity concerns, family dynamics, boundaries, transition, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, chronic illness, and relationship issues. Chaitra has had additional training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Gottman Method Couples Therapy. Chaitra has worked with patients in a private setting and at a community mental health clinic. She is dedicated to continuously learning new information and techniques that will enhance her patients’ experience.
Chaitra uses a variety of therapies to support individuals in their personal journey, helping them build resilience and gain coping and life skills. She is passionate about providing therapeutic services that meet individuals where they are at, and enjoys thinking creatively about interventions that fulfill the unique needs and preferences of each patient.
